The Euganean Hills are a group of hills of volcanic origin that rise to heights of 300 to 600 meters from the Padovan-Venetian plain a few kilometers south of Padua. The Colli Euganei is the first regional park established in Veneto (1989), this hill chain has been celebrated by many artists such as Francesco Petrarca, Shelley and Byron. Here you will enjoy the many medieval and charming villages and small towns, like Arquà Petrarca, Monselice, Este as well as the landscape and the many wine cellars where you can stop and taste the wines produced in this area together with typical and local cheese and cured meats.
The Euganean Hill are also famous for their villas, castles, monasteries and gardens such as the house of the famous poet Francesco Petrarca, the benedectine monastery of Praglia, the Villa dei Vescovi, the castle Cini at Monselice, the baroque garden of Villa Barbarigo.

ESTE, the major centre of the ancient Veneti tribe and first roman age dating back to the 7/6th century BC. During middle ages the town became the residence of the House of Este. MONTAGNANA, the town with a Palio, good and sweet ham! The historical centre is enclosed by medieval walls with the Rocca degli Alberi and Ezzelino’s tower. Visit to the cathdreal with Veronese’ altarpiece.
